About Redlands Sustainability Cooperative

The Cooperative is essentially a concerned community group who have determined to do something about climate change through a for-profit business model. 

Our projects include zero emission power generation projects, bulk purchasing of PV solar panels, solar hot water, heat pump systems, home assessment and auditing, assistance with Federal and State rebates and we are now an accredited agent for RECS (Renewable Energy Certificates).

The Redlands Sustainability Cooperative was created to bring innovative renewable energy and sustainability products to its members and the public at a reduced price.

The core principle being; to reduce emissions, to facilitate the new green economy and assist ordinary people to access often expensive technologies. Our main strength in achieving this is the power of bulk purchasing.  

We have conducted a number of successful bulk purchases of solar panels, heat pumps and Solar hot water systems for our members, saving them hundreds if not thousands of dollars. 

The Co-op have saved our members time and money by directing them to the latest information on Government schemes, rebates, and businesses that provide the best deals in purchasing these items. 

We have been operating for 2 years now and currently have approximately 65 members. It is managed by a board of 5 volunteer directors who donate their services and skills.

It is the intention of the Redlands Sustainability Cooperative to remain a member owned and operated Cooperative by people who want to make a difference.
